Why is this product sustainable?
mana.'s products are produced and sold based on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): "12. Responsible Consumption and Production," "14. Protecting the Life Below Water," and "15. Protecting the Life on Land." We encourage alternatives to plastic and disposable products, and all packaging and shipping uses biodegradable materials. Furthermore, by adopting forest certification labels that meet global standards, we are able to deliver products that consumers can trust and feel safe.
How long will it last?
It will vary depending on the number of times you use it and the volume of laundry, but you can use it for approximately 1 to 2 years.
The netting becomes part of the clothing and is subject to damage, so the time to replace it is when the netting tears or the zipper breaks.
Doesn't the net itself generate microplastics?
Our "Ocean Protection Laundry Net" uses nylon monofilament fibers and is designed to be less likely to produce microfibers.
Monofilament is a thread made from a single fiber, and is stronger, harder, and less likely to break than regular fibers.
It says that it cannot be used in a dryer, but can it be used in a drum-type washing machine?
Our laundry nets can be used in drum-type washing machines.
However, please be careful not to tumble dry it.
There is no dirt in the laundry net after washing. Is this possible?
The amount of fibers (microplastics) released varies depending on the clothes you wash.
Some clothing, especially those made of smooth nylon fabric, may have visible fibers that are difficult to remove.
If dirt does accumulate, it tends to accumulate at the edges, especially above the zipper.
